Jessica P. Lougheed, PhD

Banting Postdoctoral Fellow

I am a Banting postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology at the Pennsylvania State University. I received my PhD in Developmental Psychology at Queen’s University in 2016. The focus of my research is on child and adolescent emotion regulation, specifically as it develops in the context of parent-child relationships. I use dynamic systems methods to examine the associations between real-time emotion dynamics and outcomes such as self-control, internalizing symptoms, and relationship quality.
