Biography
I received my PhD in Developmental Psychology at Queen’s University in 2016. The focus of my research is on adolescent emotion regulation, specifically as it develops in the context of parent-child relationships. I am interested in the associations between real-time interpersonal emotion dynamics and long-term outcomes such as internalizing symptoms and relationship quality. Dr. Lougheed is currently an assistant professor in Human Development and Family Studies at Purdue University.
